Chad Thanks Greg Jay & Caid Vaughn

Greg Jay & Caid Vaughn

Hey team, all right, so it’s after Christmas, and here we are for Thankful Thursday. I wanted to share with you guys a little behind-the-scenes information of what I’m thankful for today over the holiday.

Just a few days ago, we had Christmas and Christmas Eve, moving right up to and through Christmas Eve. I gotta say that I, and many of you should also be very thankful for Caid Vaughn and for Greg Jay. Both of them stayed up way past 10, 11 o’clock on the night when it snowed. And Greg even did some hits to help the patrol team in the further out areas where the snow was maybe going to be the worst.

Caid did a very similar thing. They boxed things up, got things together, made sure that stuff was handled. Then on Christmas Eve, they ended up having to drive all the way up to Longview and pull a vehicle out of the snow that got stuck in a ditch. They continue to show their value. Their humility, their investment into you as team members, and into the company.

They are just two wonderful, great guys that love very deeply Karen and I and the rest of the team. They put themselves on the back burner so often, and in some cases put their families on the back burner.

I can imagine that on Christmas Eve, Barbie would have been happy to have her husband at home, but Greg was out doing stuff. I imagine Caid’s family, his sister, and his nieces and nephews, would have loved to have him just kind of hanging around, drinking hot chocolate, playing games, and I can imagine Caid would have enjoyed some of that too. But they put that on pause so that they could help us out, and for that, we are very thankful.

So, God bless you guys, Caid, Greg, thank you so much, and the rest of the team. I hope you had a great Christmas and that you’re ready for the new year. I am sporting my new awesome Hawaii shirt that I got from my boys and my wife. Red Dirt dyed, by the way. I think it’s Red Dirt. I can’t remember which one, but I ended up getting a few Hawaii shirts since I haven’t been to Hawaii in a number of years. Hoping to transcend that problem real soon.

But anyway, God bless you guys. Remember to be valuable just like Caid Vaughn, just like Greg Jay, because nothing else will do. All right, I’ll talk to you guys later, see you next week.”
