Chad Thanks Officer Landis
Hey team, so here we are. It is Thankful Thursday. We always have something to be thankful for, we always have somebody to be thankful for. Today, we are really, really thankful.
I have had, on two or three occasions, me personally has had a meeting with one of our clients where I’ve heard the same name mentioned by directors, supervisors, managers from one of our clients. And that person, drum roll please (no suspense, okay, sorry, a little bit maybe crazy for a Thursday), Officer Landis. Landis has been with us, I think, almost a year, maybe a little over. But I think he came here, I remember helping him scrape his window off of snow and stuff this winter. So I know he’s been here for a little while because we don’t have snow around, right? No, no, no snow.
Officer Landis, just between you and me, I want to say thank you for your dedication, your hard work, and the ethics and the values that you show to our clients every day. Team, I have seen pictures of Officer Landis sweeping. Officer Landis has stepped up in so many different ways. I have received, like I said, from more than one client at different times in this recent few months, constant and always continued praise for his work ethic, for his willingness to step in between a situation and to calm a situation down using great tactics and having a great personality, demeanor, and attitude and presence.
All of the things that we look for in a security officer, Officer Landis in spades shows that on a daily basis. And that is why we are super duper thankful. Not just because he does a great job, but because he cares. He cares so deeply about his community and the people he serves. And that includes all people, including the clients, those that are maybe what many would look down on in our society, people that maybe don’t have status. Officer Landis shows love and care towards all people of all varieties. And it doesn’t matter if you’re driving a Beamer or you’re pushing a shopping cart. We have seen Officer Landis care deeply about those that he serves. And that is what we strive for here at Northwest Enforcement.
So, Officer Landis, today is your day, buddy. I just want to say thank you for your dedication, your hard work, and for caring so deeply about the people you serve. All right. For the rest of us, let’s let Officer Landis be an example to us and a bar holder that tells us to rise a little higher in our attitudes and what we do. So remember, go out there, be valuable. Nothing else will do. God bless you. I’ll see you next week.
