Reset – Restart – Refocus

Reset - Restart - Refocus

All right, here we are again. It is Monday, and we are marching that much closer to Christmas. I wanted to share a quote I saw online: Reset. Restart. Refocus. As many times as needed. Just don’t quit.

This got me thinking about our core values—resolve. Don’t quit. Don’t give up. Restart. I have restarted many times in life. It’s never too late. It doesn’t matter what’s going on in your life. We’ve all had to reset or restart at different intervals in our lives, in lots of different ways. It’s very important for us to remember that.

You’ve got to refocus your attention.

Maybe you need to cut some things from your life so that you can focus. Maybe you need to start communicating better—with your spouse, your kids, your boss, or your team members, the people you work with so closely.

We’re coming up on our second Christmas party, and it’s going to be great to get together this Wednesday. I’m looking forward to that. But we also need to refocus our attention on the things that matter—family matters. As we march through the rest of this Christmas season and into the new year, let’s take the time to reset or restart our focus on our team, our community, and our loved ones.

If you don’t have anybody dear to you, know that you’re dear to me. You matter to me. Let me know—I’ll give you a hug, invite you over for dinner, or we can have coffee. Whatever it is, I want you to feel loved. I want you to feel honored. I want you to feel the respect we have for you as a team member here at Northwest Enforcement.

But don’t quit. Have the resolve to never quit.

Just keep going. It doesn’t matter how many times you fall down—get back up, dust yourself off, and keep moving toward your goal.

All right, guys, on this beautiful Monday, we’re almost there. The year is almost over. We’re past the halfway mark of December, which means there are only 15 days left in the year. Soon, it will be a new year, and we’ll be celebrating our 25th anniversary—25 years, a quarter of a century. Some of you aren’t even that old yet! Okay, that makes me feel old.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to 25 years of Northwest Enforcement. I am so honored and so blessed to have you as a part of it.

God bless you. Have a wonderful rest of your week. Enjoy your Christmas. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! And remember—be valuable. Nothing less. See you guys soon. Bye!
