Our story starts with a commitment to improving client service. Karen and Chad Withrow founded Northwest Enforcement to create a security company that defied industry norms. Chad’s firsthand experience in the security industry highlighted the need for ethical practices and top-tier service. Their dedication to doing things the right way laid the foundation for NEI’s growth and drives its ongoing success.

In our early years, we realized the need to adapt to changing times to provide the best service. This started with the launch of our patrol program and the introduction of our first hybrid vehicle in 2010. Our patrol program enabled us to provide flexible, efficient services while showcasing our commitment to sustainability and reducing environmental impact.

This focus on improvement led to our Security Reporting Tool (SRT), offering clients transparency into their security services. SRT allows clients to receive real-time updates on security activities, giving them peace of mind that their properties are being closely monitored and managed. We designed our proprietary technology to give clients 24/7 access to real-time information, empowering them to make well-informed decisions.

Over time, our fleet became even more eco-friendly, as we made a major investment in primarily hybrid vehicles by 2015. This move was not only environmentally responsible but also aligned with the growing demand for sustainable business practices, something our clients increasingly value.

In 2020, we expanded our operations into Washington with our acquisition of Columbia Security, a local company with nearly 50 years of service to the community. This acquisition allowed us to grow our footprint, enhance service offerings, and better meet the diverse needs of clients across the region. As we integrated Columbia Security into our operations, we retained most of their experienced team, ensuring continuity for our clients.

Our comprehensive in-house training programs are designed to equip every officer with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles. We offer free DPSST certification and provide leadership training to foster growth within our team. We also provide advanced security training tailored to meet the specific needs of each client and site, enhancing officer effectiveness and safety.

Our operations growth has been matched by expanding our team. At the heart of our improvements is our commitment to team member retention. We believe retaining clients goes beyond service; it’s about building long-term relationships based on trust, reliability, and value. We have set an ambitious retention goal for the next decade: to ensure that over 75% of our team members reach three or more years of tenure. This commitment to long-term growth and development strengthens our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality service to our clients.

Rise2Care: A Compassionate Approach to Security and Community Safety

Our Rise2Care (R2C) program, launched in 2022, responds to evolving client needs. R2C addresses security concerns while fostering care and community. We’ve partnered with Central Eastside Industrial District business leaders to offer a compassionate, community-driven safety solution—demonstrating our commitment to supporting clients beyond traditional security services.
