Officer Highlight: Officer Kelly Cooney

Here at Northwest Enforcement, we pride ourselves on hiring some of the best officers out there. From time to time, we have an officer that goes above and beyond, which proves even more what rockstar officers we have! This week we are honored to be highlighting Officer Kelly Cooney.

Since joining our team in May 2023, Ofc. Cooney has consistently demonstrated his commitment to being valuable. Now serving as a dispatcher, his extensive knowledge of sites and districts has become an indispensable resource for guiding the team, especially during overnight hours. His diligent check-ins and ability to answer nearly every question ensure seamless communication and support for both onsite and patrol officers. Ofc. Cooney’s resolve to step in and assist, no matter the challenge, has earned him consistent praise from his peers.

Ofc. Cooney’s investment in his team extends beyond his primary role. He not only takes the initiative to learn new districts to better serve the team but also shares his expertise to help others grow. He shows extreme care for his fellow officers. His commitment to our team and his own growth makes him an invaluable member of the NEI family and a true embodiment of our core values and purpose.
