PSA: Be Safe
Hey team. All right, so happy Monday. I am sorry I missed last week. As we get closer and closer to these holidays and stuff, we have both Thanksgiving and Christmas. And for me, I have two birthdays. I have Jonathan and David. David just turned eight. He is eight, and he is great. And so we have birthday parties, and Jonathan is turning 12.
Karen and I have our 32nd wedding anniversary. We have Thanksgiving, we have Christmas, we have Christmas parties. We have an end-of-year budget, we have so many things going on. And I had to do my qual this weekend. This last weekend, I had to drive up to Seattle and spend a couple of days at the police academy.
Good to know. I shot a 98.2% on the exit qual. So, not a perfect score, but I will take it for an old man with old knees, old eyes, old shoulders, old hips. I will take the 98.2%. So I am still qualified. I can still certify, I can still shoot, I am happy to tell you all that in this process of us growing as a company, and as we get closer into this winter, I just want this to kind of be a public safety announcement.
I want to remind you that it is getting dark. It is raining. Leaves are falling. It is getting slick. It is easy to slide on the highways or the roads. So take your time. Make sure you leave earlier so that you get to work on time. Make sure that you are taking your stride easy, paying attention to other drivers out there on the road.
I want you to be safe both while you are driving, for us if that is your job, but at the same time, even if you are just driving to a post or driving to work, I want you to remain safe. Pay attention to other drivers. Some people are not paying attention. They are not leaving earlier. Maybe they are not paying attention to the fact that it is getting dark now, around 4:30, 5:00 in the evening, and they are still paying attention to their cell phones. They are texting while drivin,g and so on and so forth.
So you need to have your head on a swivel and be a little extra cautious for your sake, for your safety, for the longevity of you being able to get home to your family every night and be safe. So please do that. And I am excited about our Christmas gathering that we are going to be doing. I am excited about all the different things that have been going on within the company.
We have more and more stuff that we will be sharing as the weeks and months go on. But I just wanted to reach out to you and say, have a beautiful week. It is Monday, so I will see you guys next week. Remember, let us be valuable. Nothing less will do. We are marching through the end of this week. We are already in November. That is just crazy.
But we are there. All right. I will see you guys next week. Bye. See you.
