Revenge

Good morning, team. All right, so what a wonderful day. Wanted to give you guys a little quote by J.R.R. Tolkien. He said it is useless to meet revenge with revenge. It will heal nothing. I think so many times us as people, we tend to get bitter and angry or frustrated at somebody that might have done us wrong.

And in life we tend to find that people will do us wrong. Sometimes we are too trusting of people. Sometimes we think we have friends. Some of us have been those people that have done somebody else wrong, and we have made those kind of mistakes too. And I tend to agree with Tolkien in the fact that if you are seeking revenge and you are becoming bitter, it takes a toll on you as well.

And as we are entering into this Christmas season, we are like 10 days away from celebrating Christmas. We are going to be going into the new year here in just the next couple of weeks. Perhaps maybe you can forgive and let go of the past and do not seek after to try to destroy somebody else that maybe has done you wrong.

And if that is you today, you will feel a little bit lighter because you are not barreling down. I am not saying that somebody that has done something wrong to you, you should embrace and allow them to do it again. What I am saying is that shame on them for doing wrong for you, but do not dwell in it. Do not waller in it. Do not hang out in that space, in that room, continuing to be bitter, continuing to be angry or frustrated.

Let it go and watch the weight lift. Watch yourself become lighter and maybe finding joy again in the smaller, simpler things of life. All right, that is about it. I just wanted to share with you. Also, just want to say a huge thank you and a shout out. The Christmas party was awesome. 71 white elephant gifts.

I think that is the most we have ever had in one setting. It was a lot. It was a lot of fun, and it was a lot of gifts, and it was a lot of fun to watch everybody open, especially the little kids and stuff, and watching everybody go around and steal from each other. Some of you guys are merciless and brutal to each other, but it is all done in fun and a huge amount of love.
