When You’re Invested, It Shows

Well, team, here we are. What a beautiful time of year. We had our white elephant gift exchange a little over a week ago. Wow. My goodness. Could you believe that? It was amazing. Seventy-one gifts, all the little kids. It was so much fun. And I have this quote. It goes with our core values.

And today being Monday, it is kind of important. We only have a couple of days of Christmas, but if it matters to you, it shows. If it matters to you, it shows. And that goes with our core value of invested. When things matter to you, it really shows in everything that you do and everything that you are. Everything that matters to us. If you love your car or you love your shoes or you love whatever it is, you will work on it. You will focus on it.

When you think about marriage or boyfriends and girlfriends, you get that new, fresh love in your life. I remember being a kid, it was all you could think about, and it was all you could focus on because you wanted her or him to feel special. And so you put a ton of energy and time into that relationship and into that thing.

If it matters to you, it shows.

And everybody around you notices these things. They notice when two young lovers are in love. You see it in everything that they do and everything that they are. And I can tell that for so many of us at Northwest Enforcement because it shows that you are invested in the company.

You do things. You go beyond and above and over the top to help the customer, to help the client, to help the guest, to help our clients’ guests because you care about people, and it shows. So I just want you to remember that our core values matter to us, and it shows when we are invested. It is in who you are.

It is how you dress, it is how you take care of your uniform, you polish your shoes, the smile on your face, and you showing up on time. All of those compete for front-center show material that says, “I care, and I am here for you. I am invested for you.” I am not talking about me, I am talking about our clients, I am talking about our community.

You are invested in the team members you work with. You are invested in doing a great job. And in this Christmas season, Karen and I just want to say thank you for being invested because it shows.
