Cake Reminds Us Why Work Matters

Hey team. All right, so somebody had to do it. I am in Florida, and we are enjoying ourselves getting a little breakaway. Tomorrow is Christmas. Can you believe it? December 24th is here. Tomorrow is Christmas. And I was thinking about our core values and stuff. And we have that core value that we all love. We eat cake.

Celebrate like a family. Cake reminds us why we do what we do. Cake reminds us that the work matters. That is my quote for the day. Cake reminds us why the work matters. The work matters because our family matters because our team matters. Because our community matters. We matter. You matter.

And that is why we eat cake. That is why we work. That is why we do what we do. And so on this beautiful Christmas Eve, wherever you are going, maybe you are going to go out for a candlelight ceremony at your local church. Karen and I are looking to find one here in Florida. We are going to be out doing that tonight ourselves.

And as you think about your family and you think about the time that you are spending or maybe you are working tonight, God bless you. I just want to right now just take a second and say thank you for working on Christmas Eve. For either volunteering or it just was the luck of the draw.

It was your night, and you had to do it. I cannot tell you how much we appreciate you. Your community appreciates you. Our clients appreciate you. Some amazing things happen because of your dedication and your hard work. So thank you.

But you matter, and that is why cake matters because you matter, too. So as you are finishing up and tomorrow morning you get up and the little kiddos start opening stockings and presents or however your family tradition works, I just want you to know from the bottom of our hearts, God bless you.
