Crime Prevention through Environmental design

Social issues often stem from or are related to environmental factors. We train our officers to identify environmental factors contributing to crime and other problems so that they can help proactively identify long-term solutions to difficulties clients face.

Training Description: Participants learn what CPTED is and how it can be used by anyone to help create a safe community. As security officers, they will learn what to be looking for when on clients’ properties. Based on what they see, they’ll be ready to recommend ways to change the physical environment to positively influence human behavior. They will learn how simple lighting, landscaping or signage can help reduce fear and crime while improving quality of life.
