You Didn’t Go This Far

You Didn't Go This Far

Hey team, so here we are again, another Monday Message. Today’s message, again, is about resolve, sticking to it, being with it.

The quote goes, “Keep going. You didn’t come this far to just go this far.” You didn’t come this far to go just this far.

I don’t know how many of you have had moments. Maybe you’re in a moment right now, where you’re just feeling overwhelmed. And you’re feeling like, man, I just don’t know why I’m doing this anymore.

In moments like that, I’ve had them, some just recently. Sometimes it’s good to get away for a minute and think about why did you start this journey. What journey are you on, and what are you trying to accomplish.

Because you didn’t go this far, you didn’t start this, to only go this far. You have a vision, you have a dream, you have goals to meet.

And if you only have a dream and you only have a vision of a thought, I’ve been there. And start putting some goals to it. Start telling people about it, start gathering around you the resources you need to keep accomplishing it.

Everybody in their life needs somebody to help hold them up when they’re feeling down. I’m blessed because I have a wonderful wife, Karen, who is amazing and super helpful.

I also have a wonderful group of men and women, possibly you are a part of that team of people that I surround myself with, that encourage me. I have people in my church, I have people in leadership and other businesses that I can draw on and talk to and share with. To help me remember why I’m doing this. What’s the reason behind, what’s the why behind why I’m doing it.

The how is also helpful. But the how comes mostly because of the why. And it’s the why that keeps us going, it’s the why that keeps driving us and propelling us to keep moving forward.

And so for you, I don’t know where you’re at today, but you didn’t get this far to only go this far, so don’t give up. Have that resolve to keep going, to keep moving forward.

If my message this morning has anything for you, perhaps maybe the best thing you can learn from this moment is to go out and get some of those resources. Make sure you have good quality men and women around you that you can rely on.

Sometimes the people closest to us are not people we can rely on. Especially when it comes to family in some cases, they don’t get it, especially when we’re trying to dare greatly and do great big things and move outside of our comfort zones.

That’s another thing, maybe you’ve become too comfortable. Maybe you’re in a comfort zone setting and you’re being tested in that moment. Perhaps maybe you need to move out that comfort zone, you need to get a little uncomfortable to keep right.

Adversity is a good thing, it hones us. Failure can be a good thing, it can hone us, shape us. It doesn’t feel good. Nothing feels good when you’re out there in that moment and you just fell down, you just got bucked off.

When that happens, yeah, it sucks in that moment, but we embrace that, we dust off, and we keep moving forward, again towards the why we got on this road, this journey in the first place.

So why are you here? What do you need to do to keep moving forward? Because you didn’t go this far to only get this far, you got to keep going, you got to keep moving towards that goal, rekindle that fire and that focus to help you move forward.

So on this Monday, guys, the last Monday, right, Halloween is here, yay! Sonja’s pretty excited, I’m sure.

You didn’t go this far to only get this far. So rekindle that fire, rekindle your focus, and keep moving forward, and God bless you. I’ll see you next week. Bye, see you.
