Saint Patrick’s Day Party

Saint Patrick's Day Party 2024

Hey, all right. So here we are, and it is Tuesday. Yes. It is not Monday. It is not Wednesday. I have a special happy St. Patrick’s Day message. We have done this in the past. We’ve done it a few different times where we sit down, we watch a movie. We usually watch Boondock Saints. It’s a cult classic about Saint Patrick’s Day. A lot of gunfire, a lot of crazy weird stuff. There’s profanity, a lot of that kind of thing.

This is not kid-approved. You shouldn’t bring your 8-year-old or 12-year-old kid necessarily to this. If you have an older child, 16, 18 years old, or something. And if it’s okay for them to hear profanity and swearing and inappropriate jokes about silly stuff and everything, then that’s fine. But you might not want to bring your child. Other than that, we’re going to get together.

What I’m asking is for people to donate $5 just for pizza. This is not something I’m putting together to be a big event or anything like that. I don’t know how many people are coming. I don’t know how many pizzas to buy. So I’m asking you to send an email to hr@wenforcement.com saying, “I’d love to come to the event. I’d love to come and watch some pizza, eat some pizza, watch a movie, and hang out with my friends here.

Bring a friend. You can bring a buddy, you can bring your girlfriend, your wife, your husband. You can bring a friend. Just come, and if you want to chip in five bucks a person, just let us know that, ‘Yes, I’m going to bring five bucks for me and my friend to eat pizza.’ I’ll know how many pizzas to pick up and bring on down here, and we’ll get together and we’ll watch a fun movie.

It’ll be something that we can enjoy together and remember back. If you run into a patrol officer or a lead that’s been here a few years, they probably have seen it. I’ll have the popcorn machine up and running, so we’ll have plenty of popcorn. We’ll have some fun, we’ll watch a movie, and we’ll enjoy it. If you’re on patrol 5:00 p.m., be here. You can watch it and probably still make it to patrol in time and still have fun and be part of the team. It’ll be something that you can enjoy, and you’re right, for five bucks, you get to eat as much pizza as you pretty much want, or until it’s all gone.

I just want to say guys again that this is just a fun time for us to gather together and enjoy time together. I’ll be wearing my Saint Patrick’s Day shirt because we’re all Irish on Saint Patrick’s Day, and we’ll be having a little bit of fun here. So join us here at the Sandy office at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 17th, for an enjoyable time.

Remember, not a kid-approved movie. If you are easily offended by stupid off-color jokes and things like that, you probably don’t want to attend either, and that’s okay. I’m not here to offend you, and I’m not here to say what’s appropriate or not appropriate for you and your family. This is something you can choose to do. I just want you to be here and be part of the family if you want to be here and enjoy our time together, watching a fun program.

All right, God bless you guys. I will see you when I see you next, which actually will be tomorrow because it’s a Workshop Wednesday. So I’ll see you then. Bye. See you.
