Stay Positive

Stay Positive

Hey team, so I got a quote for today’s Wednesday Workshop for you from Zig Ziglar. Zig Ziglar said that a positive attitude will have positive results because attitudes are contagious. I really believe that. It works both ways. A positive attitude can change things because they are contagious. Your attitude can be contagious if you have a positive attitude. If you’re looking forward instead of backward, if you’re looking at the next thing. If you’re picking yourself up even if you’ve fallen, made a mistake, and you’re looking to the future in a positive way. Then you might find yourself having others around you grow to that contagiousness of positiveness. If you bring a positive attitude into a tough situation, others will possibly cheer up simply because it’s a contagious thing.

The reverse is also true. If everyone is negative, if you come to every situation from a negative point of view, then many times, often it is a self-fulfilling prophecy that it plays out in that negative way because you are seeing nothing but the negative. If you can’t see anything, you have no hope, you have no positive look on things, then you might not see the rope to tug on to get yourself out of the mess that you’re in. You might not see the help that’s there because you’re overlooking it, because all you’re doing is looking in a direction that leads to deeper regret, deeper problems, more chaos in the situation instead of looking for the positive that might be there.

So, that positiveness can be a very contagious thing. Negative is also sometimes contagious because you’re not seeing it, you’re not looking for those things. And I’m not saying that being positive is the pie in the sky. Name it, claim it. Have this attitude that there’s nothing possibly that could go wrong and not preparing for contingencies or looking for loopholes and problems or roadblocks and or bumps or dips in the road that can stumble you further, that’s not what that is. But having a positive attitude is looking forward and looking for the best and planning for things that might go wrong in the process but being positive in the process.

And again, on this Wednesday Workshop, it’s great to be with you. We’re literally at the end of the month. I can’t believe two months are gone, we got 10 to go. That means we are marching right along. Cinco de Mayo’s coming up, we’re going to have ourselves some tacos and burritos. It’s going to be a lot of fun. So get your mind wrapped around that too. And remember, be valuable because nothing less would do, and stay positive while you’re doing it. God bless you, I’ll see you next week.
